Grant Cardone has been speaking to audiences for over twenty years about how to improve themselves, their businesses and their practices. "My father spent his whole life working hard and died at the young age of fifty-two. His death had a profound effect on me then and would later shape my interest and decisions. I remember telling my mother that my dream was to create a life where I had enough to really enjoy life and not be in fear of there never being enough.
As Grant went through the traditional school system he found himself bored with classes and wanted information regarding success, sales, and financial independence and it never came. Grant graduated from high school and against his better judgment, continued on to college, subsequently graduating with a degree in accounting. "No offense to the education system," Grant says, "but it is obvious to me that the school system we have today is not designed to create successful people but rather obedient, struggling, middle class robots that can not really create anything!"
Following college, Grant chose not to pursue the field of accounting and moved into sales. He knew he could never achieve the kind of financial goals he had set for himself by earning a salary! It was clear to him that any job based on a salary was trap. Even though a commission based career appeared risky, it was, at least, based on the individual's production with no limits on the upside!
At the age of twenty-five Grant was dead broke and suffering from inconsistent results. He was having trouble staying focused and started to lose both his self-confidence and his motivation. It was at this crucial time that Grant discovered the book Dianetics that he now credits with having made the single greatest impact of any book he had ever read. "Successful people know success is mostly related to the mind and less to the actual mechanics of what you are doing! Successful people have control of their minds. Dianetics taught me how to get control of my mind!"
That was the year Grant committed himself to becoming a Master at the Art of Selling. He started keeping records of every customer interaction. After compiling thousands of records, he then formulated a new way of handling people that was more customer driven and proved more effective! Within twelve months, Grant Cardone had reached the top 1% of all automotive sales in the US!
He then went on to develop and teach a revolutionary new sales approach that literally changed an entire industry! Companies all over the world now use Grant's pioneering developments and contributions which have been coined "Information Based Selling", an aggressive non confrontational selling approach.
Within a few years, Grant had become a highly acclaimed, international Sales and Motivational Speaker traveling the globe and speaking at over two hundred engagements a year. In addition to his speaking demands, Grant has proven himself a successful entrepreneur and businessman. He is CEO of a successful consulting company, The Cardone Group, based in Orlando, Florida. The Cardone Group customizes training for individual businesses and develops software solutions for maximizing business profits. The Cardone Institute, also located in Orlando, is a training center where his methodologies are taught intensively to groups that fly in from all over the world. He is also the founder of Cardone Training Technologies Inc., based in Los Angeles, California where he markets his seminars and continues to develop his training materials and products.
Grant then went on to expand his business acumen into real estate. Using the very same business approaches and philosophies he teaches in his seminars he built a real estate portfolio that now exceeds $100,000,000. In addition to an already very full schedule, Grant has been a guest on more than one hundred radio and television interviews in the U.S. Mr. Cardone is heavily involved in a number of philanthropic efforts including CCHR and the handling of illiteracy worldwide. Grant's mission and passion in life is to live life fully, ethically and without effort while helping himself and others create exceptional lives that are filled with abundance. Grant presently lives in Los Angeles, California with his beautiful wife Elena Lyons-Cardone, a successful actress.
