i-CABLE Communications Limited (i-CABLE) is a provider of pay-television, Internet and multimedia services in Hong Kong. As of December 31, 2007, the Company had approximately 882,000 pay-television subscribers. As of December 31, 2007, the Company offered 103 channels on its network, consisting of 69 basic channels, 30 non-basic channels and four pay-per-view channels. Its Internet and multimedia service consists of its broadband, media content supply and Internet protocol (IP) point wholesale services. As of December 31, 2007, the Company had approximately 306,000 broadband subscribers. As of December 31, 2007, the Company’s in-building coaxial network passed over approximately 2,168,000 homes. Within this total, approximately 2,084,000 homes were connected to the Company’s fiber optic cable network, out of which approximately 2,056,000 households were broadband-ready (these households were able to subscribe to its broadband service).
