Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (Psychiatric Solutions) is a provider of inpatient behavioral healthcare services in the United States. The Company operates 90 inpatient behavioral healthcare facilities with approximately 10,000 beds in 31 states, Puerto Rico, and the United States Virgin Islands. Through its inpatient behavioral healthcare facilities, the Company offers a range of inpatient behavioral healthcare services for children, adolescents and adults. Other behavioral healthcare services consist of its contract management and employee assistance program businesses. The Company's inpatient behavioral healthcare facilities division and other behavioural healthcare services accounted for 91.6% and 8.4% respectively of Psychiatric Solutions' revenue during the year ended December 31, 2007. Psychiatric Solutions acquired five inpatient psychiatric facilities of United Medical Corporation on March 4, 2008. In June 2007, the Company completed the acquisition of Horizon Health Corporation.
