Rentokil Initial plc is a holding company that, through its subsidiaries, provides a range of business to business support services. As of December 31, 2007, the Company operated in five business segments: Textiles and Washroom Services, Pest Control, Facilities Services, Ambius and City Link. Textiles and Washroom Services includes workwear rental, Flat linen rental, washroom equipment and consumables, and floor mats. Pest Control services include pest control for commercial, industrial and residential customers. Facilities Services include cleaning, catering, hospital services, speciality hygiene, and medical. Ambius services include design and installation of indoor plant displays. City Link services include express delivery of parcels. In July 2007, the Company acquired Ambigest. In December 2007, Rentokil Initial plc completed the sale of its Initial Electronic Security Group.
