Myocor® is a clinical stage medical device company dedicated to developing less invasive therapeutic options for the treatment of mitral regurgitation and heart failure.

Myocor designed the Coapsys® platform technology to provide a complete and less invasive solution for the treatment of FMR by reducing mitral regurgitation and reshaping the left ventricle. Myocor has a strong intellectual property position with 33 issued patents as part of a total 66 US patent filings in the area of shape change technology and therapy.

The company has completed the TRACE trial, a 35 patient feasibility study outside the US evaluating the surgical Coapsys device. Myocor is currently sponsoring the RESTOR-MV prospective, randomized clinical trial comparing the Coapsys device to ring annuloplasty. Clinical evaluation of the percutaneous iCoapsys device is expected within the year.
