Description

CECA provides advice and information to members on a diverse range of issues. Its staff are available to answer enquiries and provide information on issues including developments in infrastructure investment, procurement initiatives and strategies, legal contractual matters, employment, technical and environmental issues, training and safety. CECA aims to provide an effective voice for civil engineering contractors within the Construction Confederation. The Construction Confederation is the leading representative body for contractors and CECA are represented by the CC on pan-industry issues. CECA is one of the founder members of the Construction Confederation which was established in July 1997. A combination of CECA staff and additional Confederation specialist staff can provide members with up to date information and advice. CECA's information resource is complemented through membership of trade bodies such as the British Road Federation and the Railway Forum where information and intelligence are exchanged and initiatives are developed.
