Description
Winemiller Communications pioneered the process of remanufacturing broadcast vehicles in 1997 as a cost saving alternative to buying new broadcast vehicles. Based in Carlisle, PA and with an unrelenting focus on Quality and Customer Service, WCI grew, and by the end of 2003, has now remanufactured over 200 vans and trucks, many for repeat customers. In addition to remanufacturing customer owned vans and trucks, WCI also maintains a fleet of remanufactured ENG vans available for sale. Due to increased customer demand, WCI has expanded it's expertise into other broadcast vehicle services including DSNG upgrades, remounting new chassis on satellite trucks, broadcast vehicle service and maintenance, and ENG van rentals.
In early 2003, WCI was acquired by AK Specialty Vehicles and in late 2003 we introduced our First Responder Trailers, which include the Raytheon/JPS ACU-1000, a radio router system.
While now an integral part of a premier specialty vehicle manufacturing organization, WCI continues to focus on the attributes that made us successful - Quality and Customer Service.
In the Fourth Quarter of 2004 Winemiller moved our operations to the Frontline Communications facility in Clearwater, Florida.
