Description

Quality Distribution, Inc. (QDI) is engaged in operating the for-hire chemical bulk tank truck network in North America. The Company transports a range of chemical products and provides the customers with tank wash facilities, logistics and other services. The bulk service network consists of company operated terminals, independently-owned third-party affiliate terminals and independent owner-operator drivers. QDI is engaged in bulk transportation of liquid and dry chemical products through its subsidiary, Quality Carriers, Inc. (QCI). The tank wash business is operated through the subsidiary, QSI. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) depot services are operated through the subsidiaries, Quality Container Services (QCS) and Boasso America Corporation (Boasso). On December 18, 2007, the Company completed the acquisition of Boasso. During the year ended December 31, 2007, the Company managed a fleet of approximately 3,900 tractors and 7,500 tank trailers.
