Allion Healthcare, Inc. is a United States provider of specialty pharmacy and disease management services focused on Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) patients. The Company sells HIV/AIDS medications, ancillary drugs and nutritional supplies under its trade name MOMS Pharmacy. As of December 31, 2007, Allion Healthcare owned and operated 11 specialty pharmacies in four states, and in December 2007 the Company serviced 15,610 patients. Allion Healthcare works closely with physicians, nurses, clinics, AIDS Services Organizations (ASOs), and government and private payors to improve clinical outcomes and reduce treatment costs for its patients. On April 4, 2008, the Company completed the acquisition of Biomed America, Inc., a provider of specialized biopharmaceutical medications and services to chronically ill patients.
