UFP Technologies, Inc. (UFPT) is a designer and custom converter of foams, plastics and natural fiber products principally serving the automotive, computer and electronics, medical, aerospace and defense, consumer and industrial markets. The Company offers a range of engineered packaging solutions, including cushion packaging products designed to provide protection for fragile and valuable items; and molded fiber products that are made from 100% recycled paper, customized for packaging high volume consumer goods, including computer components, medical devices, and health and beauty products. In addition to packaging products, UFPT offers various engineered component products including automotive interior trim, athletic and industrial safety belts, and components for medical diagnostic equipment. It sells and commercializes its packaging and specialty products mainly to customers in the United States. On January 18, 2008, the Company acquired Stephenson & Lawyer, Inc.
