Description

Tucows Inc. is a global distributor of Internet services, including domain name registration, security and identity products through digital certificates, and e-mail. The Company is organized into four service and product related groups. The Reseller Services group manages over eight million domain names, millions of mailboxes and tens of thousands of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificates, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), and other resellers around the world. The Retail Services group offers these services to consumers and small businesses. As of February 20, 2008, its Domain Portfolio group oversaw over 150,000 domain names, many of which Tucows offers for resale through its reseller network and other channels. Additionally, its Content group generates advertising revenue through tucows.com. On July 25, 2007, Tucows acquired Innerwise Inc., a privately held, ICANN-accredited registrar offering domain services through a worldwide wholesale network of over 2,500 affiliates.
