Description
Since 1987, Headlands Center for the Arts has provided residencies for professional artists in a range of media from more than 30 countries and 20 U.S. states. We welcome all artists, at all levels, to apply. However artists pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees may not apply while enrolled in degree-granting programs. Former Artists in Residence must wait five years to re-apply. Headlands' Sponsoring Partners help to underwrite costs for Artists in Residence. Among our sponsorships for 2009, there are specific applications for Ohio artists that have received fellowships and North Carolina artists. Please click to download an Ohio Artist in Residence application and North Carolina Artist in Residence application (requires Adobe Acrobat reader).
