ONUX Medical, Inc. currently sells its general surgery products Touche and Salute through an ONUX national direct sales force that cover the 50 states. ONUX also uses a small number of distributors domestically and internationally for complete customer coverage.

ONUX Medical, Inc. plans to use other distribution partners for product launches of En Garde in Vascular surgery and anastomotic connector bypass connector in heart surgery.

The En Garde spring coil fixation system was recently granted 510(k) approval by the FDA. The system allows a surgeon to "suture" by delivering the fixation coil through a small gauge needle. En Garde will be marketed to the general surgical audience with the Salute and Touche products. In parallel, ONUX Medical, Inc. intends to pursue other product applications such as laparoscopic or minimally invasive vascular surgery and repair.

ONUX Medical, Inc. is a developer and manufacturer of innovative surgical devices used for minimally invasive and open procedures. Both the Salute Fixation System and the standard Touche automated suturing system employ the company's proprietary force capture technology and disposable suture cartridges. These products are already used in a variety of open and laparoscopic surgical procedures including hernia repair and gastric bypass.

ONUX Medical, Inc. maintains an active product development program. One product, the anastomotic connector, will be introduced at the American Academy of Thoracic Surgeons meeting (AATS) in Boston in May of this year. Designed to facilitate the proximal anastomotic connection during coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG), the product is projected for release in 2003. Other development efforts are focused on modifications to existing ONUX Medical Inc. products to meet the needs of other surgical specialties, such as plastic and reconstructive surgery.
