Camden Property Trust is a real estate investment trust (REIT) engaged in the ownership, development, construction and management of multi-family apartment communities. As of December 31, 2007, the Company owned interests in, operated or were developing 193 multi-family properties comprising 66,468 apartment homes located in 13 states. As of December 31, 2007, the Company had 3,383 apartment homes under development at 11 of its multi-family properties, including 1,257 apartment homes at four multi-family properties owned through joint ventures and several sites it plans to develop into multi-family apartment communities. In addition, two properties consisting of 391 apartment homes were designated as held for sale. In April 2007, the Company acquired Camden South Congress, a 253-apartment home community located in Austin, Texas. In June 2007, it acquired Camden Royal Palms, a 352-apartment home community located in Tampa, Florida.
