In its fifth year, the Teva Mountain Games have emerged as the premier outdoor adventure event in the country. Professional and amateur athletes converge annually upon the mountains and rivers of Vail to compete in more than twenty different outdoor competitions including kayaking, rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking, road biking, adventure racing, trail running and fly-fishing with a total of $85,000 in cash prizes. In addition to the Everest Awards, the Mountain Games will also include film and photograph competitions, numerous concerts by national headlines, as well as the Teva Mountain Ball.
