Telkonet, Inc. is a provider of centrally managed solutions for integrated energy management, networking, building automation and proactive support services. In March 2007, the Company completed the acquisition of Smart Systems International (SSI), a technology manufacturer of in-room energy management systems for the hospitality industry. In March 2007, the Company also completed the acquisition of EthoStream, LLC, a high-speed wireless Internet and technology provider for the hospitality, MDU and MTU markets. Telkonet operates in two segments: the Telkonet segment and the MST segment.
