The Kids Eat Smart Foundation is committed to ensuring that the Foundation is recognized for setting up and supporting food program that emphasize nutrition first. Since our programs are delivered by volunteers, our strategic priorities are focused on investing in and supporting volunteers so that together we can ensure quality child nutrition programs through meeting Best Practice standards. These standards are developed nationally, and have been adapted by Kids Eat Smart to deal with the challenges and barriers within our provincial context. They form the basis of our guidelines for Kids Eat Smart Clubs and the way we work together with programs to achieve our goals.
