Description
STROLLERCIZE® is the unique workout program for new mothers that uses the stroller as a fitness apparatus to get into shape. It is the ideal way for women to maintain their fitness, regain their figures, increase their energy, and be with their children all at the same time. In addition to the obvious health benefits, STROLLERCIZE® provides babies with motor stimulation as moms move and strut right before their eyes. STROLLERCIZE® is the brainchild of personal trainer Elizabeth Trindade, who was "fitness frustrated" after the birth of her first child Tatiana. "After you give birth, your figure takes on a shape you will not recognize, and most likely will not like," says Trindade. In a desperate desire to regain her body while still being with her baby, she took stroller in hand and created STROLLERCIZE®. Strollercize® has garnered both national and international media attention, including NBC's "Dateline," CNN's "Headline News," ABC's "Good Morning America, and Lifetime's "New Attitudes." It has been covered all over the globe from countries such as Japan, France, Italy, and Germany. STROLLERCIZE® became a registered trademark in 1994. In 1996 Strollercize partnered with Baby Gap and launched the first Strollerthon in Central Park to raise money for the Starlight Foundation. Year round, this New York City strolling empire offers 120 classes per month and an on-line certification program for anyone who is interested in teaching a STROLLERCIZE® class in their city. The classes have grown to include toddlers, twins and expectant mothers. Programs have been added to keep up with the demands of the mothers such as "First Steps", "Personal Changer", "Preparing To Push®" (our prenatal program), "Pram n Pilates", and "Stuck Inside". Strollercize's Mommyvents include Margarita Moms, Knit Fit, Baby C.P.R. and the famous Mom Mini Marathon. Strollercize also has a quarterly newsletter titled Wheel Life News, which is the company's information venue. STROLLERCIZE® is the answer to every mother's struggle. Now mom can spend time with her new baby and stroll her cares away.
