"Their trainers are highly experienced in accommodating cultural differences in their training approach. They can also communicate effectively with Chinese students and they do a great job of integrating them into their courses."

Ms Lee said the internship arrangement was a natural progression from the training provided by Sir George Seymour for FCm Travel Solutions' agents in Shanghai and Beijing over recent months.

"The program is among the most innovative and comprehensive available to Chinese travel agents, and it fills a niche in the local travel industry," she said.

Due to the success of the six-day training program, FCm Travel Solutions China is now using it as the standard induction process for all new people employed by the company.

"FCm Travel Solutions has a strong career development path for its people, as well as a learning and development program adapted from Flight Centre Limited's specialist Learning Centre," Ms Lee said.
