Biolase Technology, Inc. is a medical technology company that develops, manufactures and markets lasers and related products focused on technologies for applications and procedures in dentistry and medicine. In particular, its principal products are dental laser systems that allow dentists, periodontists, endodontists, oral surgeons and other specialists to perform a range of dental procedures, including cosmetic and complex surgical applications. The Company offers two categories of laser system products: its Waterlase systems and its Diolase systems. The Company has clearance from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), to market its laser systems in the United States and also have the necessary approvals to sell its laser systems in Canada, the European Union and certain other international markets.
