Its operations are organized into three business units: Entertainment, Embedded Solutions, and Distribution and Commerce. In April 2008, it completed the divesture of its Software Business Unit to Thoma Bravo, LLC. In May 2008, it completed the acquisition of Gemstar-TV Guide International, Inc.
