Description

IBIS is a separate corporation with its own articles and bylaws and Board of Directors. The Board consists of two ex-officio members from the IBA Board with full voting rights and a new incoming Board member selected each year to serve six one-year terms. In addition, the IBIS President and IBA President serve as full members of the Board with the IBA President also serving as IBIS Secretary. Each year a banker is elected to the IBIS Board to serve six one-year terms. During the first year, the Board member serves as treasurer to IBIS. The Board Member than progresses through the chairs, i.e., Vice Chairman the third year, Chairman the fourth year, Immediate Past Chairman the fifth year, and Past Chairman the sixth year on the Board.
