Comerica Incorporated is a financial holding company. The Company's principal activity is lending to and accepting deposits from businesses and individuals. It operates through three business segments: Business Bank, Retail Bank, and Wealth & Institutional Management. It also operates through a Finance Division. The Business Bank segment consists of middle market, commercial real estate, national dealer services, international finance, leasing, financial services, and technology and life sciences. The Retail Bank segment includes small business banking and personal financial services, consisting of consumer lending, consumer deposit gathering and mortgage loan origination. The Wealth & Institutional Management segment offers products and services consisting of fiduciary services, private banking, retirement services and investment management and advisory services. The Finance Division includes the Company’s securities portfolio, and asset and liability management activities.
