Since 1918, YMCA Camp Wapsie has been offering summer camp and retreat programs. Our beautiful natural setting and comfortable accommodations make YMCA Camp Wapsie a popular place for campers of all ages! Accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), Wapsie serves boys and girls ages 6-18 in our summer resident and day camp programs and camp visitors of all ages throughout our year-round retreat, team building, holiday and family camp programs. YMCA Camp Wapsie sits on 172 acres of scenic woodlands and wetlands on an oxbow lake off the Wapsipinicon River in northern Linn County, Iowa. The warm relaxed atmosphere of Camp Wapsie, with its natural beauty, provides an ideal setting to experience the outdoors and enhance the lives of all people.
