Lafarge Corporation (NYSE, TE: LAF) is one of North America's largest diversified suppliers of cement, aggregates and concrete, gypsum wallboard, and other materials for residential, commercial, institutional, and public works construction. Lafarge operates 15 cement plants, approximately 600 construction materials operations, three gypsum wallboard manufacturing facilities, and other businesses in 44 states and all provinces of Canada, with 1999 sales of more than $2.6 billion.
