In April 2004, Optimed Software Corporation was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of QHR Technologies Inc., a publicly traded company (TSX Venture Exchange-QHR). Optimed purchased the Accuro software from Dr. Thomas Kinahan, a practicing Urologist, whose goal was to satisfy the need for one complete clinic management solution. Since then, Optimed has focused on developing, implementing, and supporting the Accuro product line of clinic management software with the help of an Advisory Board of practicing physicians. Our mission is to be the premier vendor of integrated clinic management solutions.

Our clients range in size from single physician clinics to multiple physician clinics with numerous administrative staff. Many of our clients have converted thousands of paper patient files into Accuro EMR paperless technology and many others have built their practices from ground up using Accuro EMR.

At Optimed, we take pride in our customer service which has been a corner stone of our success. Much of our client base has developed through physician referrals and we are proud that our clients believe we offer the best training and support.

Our team understands the business of clinic management and uses this knowledge to help clinics efficiently streamline workflows, eliminate error, and enhance the level of patient care with the use of our software. Our developers are dedicated to the ongoing advancement of Accuro and use customer feedback to maintain user friendly operation and ease of implementation.

Optimed is based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Optimed staff members are also located across Western Canada in order to maintain our exceptional service standards.
