Description

In past years the AVN has concentrated on working with the providers of direct employment services to disabled veterans. During the fiscal year, the AVN will continue to research the quality of indirect employment and counseling services provided to disabled veterans. The AVN will make at least one site visit to a Department of Veterans Affairs facility to study the employment counseling services provided to hospitalized veterans. The AVN will also monitor the progress of federal employment counseling services to disabled veterans and those being released from active duty due to disabling conditions. The AVN will publish its findings and recommendations in a report to appropriate federal officials.
