Description

The MPA Ethics Committee provides consultation services to MPA member psychologists, other psychologists, and members of the public who have questions related to ethical issues or dilemmas that may arise in clinical, consulting, academic, or other areas of psychological practice. Consultations are provided by an MPA Ethics Committee member by phone. All consultations are discussed anonymously by the full committee at its monthly meeting. If there is additional feedback it will be communicated to the caller. The Ethics Committee uses the 2002 APA Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct, which may be downloaded at www.apa.org/ethics/code2002.pdf, as its reference for consultations. To request an ethics consultation, please call the MPA office at (651) 203-7249. You will then be directed to the Ethics Committee member providing consultation for that month.
