The Medical Association of Georgia Foundation was established in 1967 as a non-profit, non-stock corporation to enable physicians to support projects vitally affecting scientific medicine and public health. The vision of the volunteer physicians Board of Trustees is to be a leader in philanthropic efforts representing physicians. Today, the Foundation provides an opportunity to showcase a true philanthropic spirit of physicians who desire to give back to the communities and the profession they serve. Each contribution allows the Foundation to grow and better educate the patient population of Georgia for healthier communities and a healthier Georgia as well as enhance the integrity of the profession and the sanctity of the physician-patient relationship.
