Bancorp) is a Canadian merchant bank and alternative asset manager that provides investors with access to a range of private equity and other alternative asset class investment opportunities. The Company is focused on investments, either directly or through entities managed by it, in small- and middle-capitalization public and private companies. The Company focuses on four major asset areas: small- and mid-cap industrials, real estate, infrastructure and financial services. C.A. Bancorp’s revenues from its investment and asset management activities include dividends, interest, commissions and capital gains, plus management fees and performance fees on managed funds. It also consolidates the operations of subsidiaries under its control, including AgriFinancial Canada Corp. In September 2008, Sentry Select Capital Corp. and C. A. Bancorp announced that, through a subsidiary, they have acquired Waterfall Investments Inc.
