Baird provides a wide variety of advisory services, primarily serving middle,market companies; however, we have advised on acquisitions as large as ,6.3 billion. Our merger and acquisition practice is closely split between buyers and sellers, giving us unique perspectives into both. Our active buyer advisory practice makes us keenly aware of the interests of strategic acquirers. When advising sellers, Baird professionals are adept at identifying buyers and conducting the sale process.

Many of our clients turn to us to help them raise capital to assist them in meeting their strategic initiatives. Baird investment banking professionals work to provide their best advice to clients raising money through a public stock offering. We have helped many of our clients through multiple offerings of stock.

Baird also works with corporate clients who choose to pursue their capital needs through private placements, which are targeted at leading institutional investors in the private equity market. Our clients generally seek transactions of over ,10 million or more in private equity capital.

Through our private equity funds in the United States and Europe, Baird makes investments in opportunities ranging from earlier-stage growth companies to larger, more seasoned businesses. These funds include Baird Capital Partners and Baird Venture Partners in the United States and Baird Capital Partners Europe and Granville Baird Capital Partners in Europe.
