The Center City Consortium is a group of eight inner-city Catholic elementary schools that have banded together under one administrative entity, to ensure that some of the city's neediest children can continue to receive a quality education.

2. Why are other inner-city Catholic schools not a part of the Consortium?

The original eight schools opted into the program at its inception and are also seen as the neediest. We anticipate that the other eight inner-city Archdiocesan schools will soon join the Consortium.

3. I make a donation to the Washington Scholarship Fund ... Isn't that the same thing?

No. The maximum assistance students receive from the fund has been $1,700.
