Founded by Don Brown in 1978, C. D. Brown Const., Inc offers productive experience as a total job utility contractor. Don started the business with only two employees and one backhoe. After more than twenty-five years of doing business; we have grown to over 50 highly qualified, dedicated technicians and managers who operate our ever growing versatile equipment fleet. Primarily serving telephone, cable tv, water, sewer, electric, gas utilities, and oil producers, we have worked on projects all across Oklahoma and surrounding states. We believe the key to our success over the years is relatively simple: It involves a commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction.

The people we employ are dedicated to excellence in their work. Most have a background in the utility industry, and many have been with the company since its beginning. They are very skilled at their jobs, and take a tremendous amount of pride in their ability to complete projects correctly, on time and on budget.

The wide-ranging capabilities offered by C.D. Brown Const., Inc. include virtually every aspect of underground utility installation, from sewer pipe and rural water lines to plastic gas lines, telephone lines and conduit as well as fiber optic cable. We now include in our wide range of services, Outside Plant Design Engineering, Project Management, material procurement, as well as placing, splicing and cutover of copper or fiber optic cable for partial or total turn-key Telecommunications or Cable TV projects.

Our company was one of the first companies in Oklahoma to utilize directional boring to install utility lines, pipe and fiber optic cable and avoid the restoration problems associated with open-cut excavation. Despite the time-saving advantages achieved with directional machines, the greatest benefit is its "public relations" asset. In areas of multiple utilities and mature landscaping many property owners will not tolerate open-cut excavations; directional boring is the most efficient and productive solution to this common problem.

We are fully insured and bondable for your large projects. Safety is Priority One on every jobsite. Our employees - including managers and supervisors - wear or use standard safety gear and take part in safety training on a regular basis. We firmly believe that safety is a way of life, both on and off the job. We are also members of ISNetworld that complies with current requirements for pipeline record keeping standards.

One of our greatest strengths is the depth of our specialized equipment fleet. From surface preparation equipment to excavators, trenchers to boring equipment, digger trucks and the latest splicing/testing equipment, we have the resources to get the job done quickly and efficiently.
