Shaw River Resources Limited (Shaw River) is an Australia-based company. The Company is principally engaged in the exploration for gold and base metal (zinc-copper-gold, nickel-copper, zinc-copper and coppergold) deposits. Shaw River operates nine mineral exploration projects in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The Company holds mineral rights with other holders, including Atlas Iron and Pandell Pty Ltd. Shaw River’s projects cover over 6000 kilometer in the Pilbara of Western Australia. In February 2008, Shaw River acquired a 100% interest in the non-iron ore mineral rights to 13 tenements from Atlas Iron. On 7 August 2008, the Company announced that it had acquired a 70% interest in the manganese and iron rights in four Pilbara tenements at Baramine from Pandell Pty Ltd.
