The Oregon Historical Society is offering a $3,000 prize and publication for the best original fiction or nonfiction manuscript dealing with Oregon history. Manuscripts for young readers are encouraged. Manuscripts should be grounded in historical research and may include biography, narrative history, monographs or community history. Deadline for submissions is August 1.
