The Gear Works provides a broad range of gear products and services, including custom engineered products, to meet the demanding specifications of commercial , military, and aerospace customers. Our plant in Seattle is one of the largest gear manufacturing facilities in North America. This complete operation includes more that 130,000 square feet of production area. A large assortment of gear cutting equipment enables us to produce gears for many applications, including marine propulsion, construction equipment, mining machinery, auxiliary equipment, and high speed turbo compressors. the largest selection of gear grinding equipment in the western United States is available here to produce gears up to 12 feet in diameter to AGMA class 12 quality standards. The assembly facility complements our role as a full service gear house. we design and build custom drives to be used in a variety of applications, including conveyors, mixers, excavators, winches, compressors, and telescopes. Our complete proprietary line of Grizzly planetary speed reducers is available from stock. The Gear Works is renowned for its unique ability to improve existing gear drives. We have greatly increased the horsepower capacities and service lives of many chronically ill gearboxes by analyzing the existing components and then providing better gears and bearings. This is less expensive than total replacement. To serve you even further we're available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for emergency repair work.
