Description

We are a community-based social service agency serving various regions in British Columbia, and have expanded our services continually since 1992. Our programming includes specialized residential care programs, specialized family counseling and other interventions, community living services (group and individual), supported independent living programming for youth, youth addictions mobile treatment and crisis stabilization beds, outreach services for women dealing with abuse in their relationships, children who witness abuse counseling, and support and education/ training for foster parents. Our programs are funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, Interior Health Authority, Northern Health Authority, Community Living British Columbia, and the Ministry of Community Services. This website provides details about each of our program areas, including specific funding sources and contact information for the programs. In 2003 and again in 2007 we received a three year Accreditation with CARF International, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. At AXIS Family Resources Ltd., we continue to meet and exceed the standards set out by our funders and by CARF in order to provide the the highest possible quality of programming to the people we serve in our programs. AXIS Family Resources Ltd. is a member of the Federation of Child and Family Services of British Columbia, and has partnerships with other agencies and organizations within each community where our programs exist.
