Cinemark, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cinemark Holdings, Inc. and the parent company of CNMK Holding, Inc., which is the parent company of Cinemark USA, Inc. The Company operates theaters in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia. It has 408 theaters and 4,665 screens in the United States and Latin America. In the United States, the Company has 287 theaters and 3,654 screens in 38 states. In Latin America, the Company has 121 theaters and 1,011 screens in 12 countries. As of December 31, 2007, the Company managed its business under two operating segments: United States markets and international markets. The Company operates seven art theaters with 27 screens under the CineArts brand. It also regularly plays art and independent films at 11 other theaters. During the year ended December 31, 2007, concession sales represented approximately 30.7% of total revenues.
