Polycom, Inc. is a global provider of a line of communications equipment that enables enterprise users to conduct video, voice, data and Web communications. The Company operates in three segments: Video Solutions, Voice Communications and Services. The Video Solutions segment comprises video communications products (telepresence, group and desktop video products) and network systems products (video and voice media servers and network management solutions). The Voice Communications segment includes Polycom’s conference phone, wired desktop voice products and wireless handset voice products. The Services segment includes a range of professional service and support offerings to its resellers and directly to some end-user customers. In 2007, the Company completed two acquisitions: Destiny Conferencing Corporation (Destiny), a telepresence solutions company, and SpectraLink Corporation (SpectraLink), a provider of on-premises wireless handset solutions.
