Clarke Inc. (Clarke) is a Canada-based investment company with a portfolio of investments, including wholly owned subsidiaries operating in the transportation services industry. The segments of the Company include investment segment, freight transportation segment, materials segment and other segment. The other segment consists of wholly owned real estate, as well as the treasury, information technology, human resources and executive functions of the Company. During the year ended December 31, 2007, Clarke discontinued the operations of the Warehouse segment. In April 2007, Clarke sold its entire position in Fishery Products International Limited. In February 2008, Clarke, Inc. acquired the remaining interest in Granby Industries Income Fund. As a result, Granby Industries Income Fund became a wholly owned subsidiary of Clarke. On September 25, 2008, the Company completed the acquisition of Art In Motion Income Fund.
