Royal Papers Inc. is a family owned and operated business serving the St. Louis Metro area since 1948.

Royal Papers Inc. was originally founded by Joe Aubuchon. Since 1988, Royal Papers has been under the direction and leadership of its current President, Paul S. Passanise, a St. Louis native who grew up on The Hill.

Paul Passanise along with Ed Nash purchased the organization on March 31, 1988. This purchase occurred during a four-story fire that completely destroyed the 1218 South Vandeventer location on February 7, 1988. The close-knit, family-like atmosphere kept the business afloat. Royal Papers was delivering to its customers the next day after the fire. Four business days later, Royal Papers Inc. was moving into its new, and present, headquarters located at 1939 South Vandeventer in St. Louis.

To better serve its customers, Royal developed a new concept RoyaLab in June 1993. RoyaLab is the professional sales/service division of Royal that specializes in equipment, chemicals and service. This division serves the janitorial industry as well as institutional foodservice and laundry. In September 2007, RoyaLab West moved into its newest location at 2295 Administration Drive, Maryland Heights, MO. Please come see our hands-on showroom and product / equipment displays.

Additionally, in May 2003, Royal Papers formed a partnership with Bob Hawn to purchase Springfield Janitor Supply. SJS, located at 2255 North Burton Avenue in Springfield, MO, enables Royal to service the Southwest Missouri market.

Furthermore, on October 1, 2004, Royal Papers acquired Twin City Janitorial located at 1230 Commercial Blvd. in Herculaneum, MO. This janitorial chemicals and equipment showroom, now RoyaLab South, allows Royal to serve its customers more efficiently in the Herculaneum / Festus / Farmington area.
