CommScope, Inc. is engaged in providing infrastructure solutions for communications networks. The Company is also engaged in providing radio frequency subsystem solutions for wireless networks. Through the SYSTIMAX and Uniprise brands, CommScope is involved in structured cabling systems for business enterprise applications. The Company is also engaged in manufacturing of coaxial cable for broadband cable television networks and provide cabinets for digital subscriber line and fiber-to-the-node applications. The segments of the Company include Enterprise, Broadband and Carrier. On December 27, 2007, the Company completed the acquisition of Andrew Corporation (Andrew). On May 1, 2007, CommScope completed the acquisition of Signal Vision, Inc. On January 31, 2008, CommScope completed the sale of the Satellite Communications business to Resilience Capital Partners. In April 2008, the Company announced that it has completed the divestiture of its minority interest in Andes Industries, Inc.
