Description

Gen Con LLC was founded in May of 2002 by the game mogul himself, Peter Adkison. After being absent from the industry for about a year, Peter purchased Gen Con Game Fair from Wizards of the Coast.

The first show that was put on by Gen Con LLC took place in August in Milwaukee, WI. It was a total success and brought in over 26,000 attendees. The team is now focused on its future. While starting the company with three shows; Europe, Indy, and So Cal, Gen Con will scale back and focus its efforts in the US. The other staff members that make up Gen Con LLC are: Peter Adkison, Owen Seyler, Patti Devine-Beckwith, Cliff "CJ" Jones, Stacie Balelo, Rennie Araucto, Jeannette Le Gault, Megan Heinert, Lindsay Ohman, David Reis, Maricela Zavala, Adrian Swartout and Ann Eutsler.
