Stena owns and manages property in Sweden, the Netherlands and France. The total property holding is around 2.4 million sqm divided into 24 000 residential properties and 3 000 commercial premises. The business is run through both Stena Fastigheter AB and Stena Realty B.V. Stena Fastigheter is one of Sweden's largest privately owned property companies. The company owns and manages residential and commercial properties in various metropolitan areas: Göteborg, Malmö, Stockholm, Halmstad, Lund, Umeå and Uppsala. The objective is to provide safe, pleasant residential and commercial premises through an organisation built on environmental considerations, cooperation, service and quality. Over the past few years Stena Fastigheter has developed its traditional management into "relationship management" for a selected number of property areas. This working method involves close cooperation with tenants, municipalities and other local players. Stena Realty B.V. owns, manages and develops commercial property in the Netherlands, France, Germany and Luxembourg. Investments are made either directly through other companies and funds, or through different partnerships.
