Owensboro Medical Health System provides healthcare services to a ten-county area in Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky with a mission of healing the sick and improving the health of the community. The hospital's vision is for Daviess County to become the healthiest community in Kentucky. About 95 percent of Daviess Countians choose OMHS for their health care needs. The hospital is licensed for 453 beds.

At the same time, OMHS is celebrating five years of caring for patients at the HealthPark, its medical-based fitness facility on Ford Avenue. About 4,500 individuals are members, but HealthPark services and programs are utilized by an even larger segment of the community. The HealthPark provides both outpatient diagnostic services and physical therapy, along with cardiac rehabilitation services, diabetes management, a warm water therapy pool, gymnasium, a health resource center, library and chapel - all supporting healthy lifestyle choices.

OMHS also offers healthcare services at other locations.

The McAuley Clinic at 501 Walnut Street, inside the Daniel Pitino Shelter, provides care for anyone not covered by health insurance, Medicaid or Medicare. There is no charge for services.

The Convenient Care Center at 608 Frederica Street, adjoining the Brescia University Lechner Graduate Center, offers walk-in immediate care needs daily from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Other locations include the Breckenridge Breast and Diagnostic Center at 1000 Breckenridge Street and the Wound Healing Center at 1325 Triplett Street.
