The MetroHealth System is one of the nation's largest and most successful public health providers, and northeast Ohio's only safety net hospital. The System consists of MetroHealth Medical Center, a 731-bed tertiary hospital, nine community health centers for primary and specialty care, skilled nursing facilities, and the largest hospital-based rehabilitation center in the state. Affiliated with Case Western Reserve University since 1914, MetroHealth is recognized for teaching and research excellence, offering vital training and research opportunities for students, nurses and physicians.
