Websense, Inc. offers Web security and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions, providing products and services that protect organizations' employees and critical business data from external Web-based and e-mail-based attacks, and from internal employee-generated threats such as an employee error and malfeasance. Ingram Micro, the Company's broad-line distributor for North America, accounted for approximately 12% of its revenue during the year ended December 31, 2007. In October 2007, the Company acquired SurfControl plc (SurfControl), a provider of Web and e-mail security software solutions, which expanded its product portfolio to include e-mail security software and hosted Web and e-mail security solutions.
