ADESA Impact has 26 total-loss vehicle auction facilities in the United States and Canada. ADESA Impact is a unit of ALLETE Automotive Services which also includes ADESA Corp., a network of 53 wholesale vehicle auctions; AFC, North America's largest independent dealer floorplan finance company; PAR, a vehicle remarketing company; AutoVIN, which provides vehicle inspection services to the automotive industry and its lenders; and ComSearch, which provides Internet-based parts location and nationwide insurance claim audit services.

ALLETE's corporate headquarters are located in Duluth, Minnesota. Besides Automotive Services, ALLETE's holdings include Minnesota Power, a low-cost electric utility that serves some of the largest industrial customers in the United States, and significant real estate holdings in Florida.
