KNH is an arms length management organisation, set up by Kirklees Council to improve and manage council housing within the geographical area of Huddersfield, Holmfirth, Dewsbury, Batley and the surrounding area. Our mission is to provide:"Quality homes and services in successful communities"As a 3 star "excellent" housing organisation, KNH is able to provide a range of advice, support and estate management services to other housing providers, on a consultancy basis. We are a Beacon Partner in "Improving housing services by involving tenants." The areas we offer our consultancy services in are:Provision of housing management services Peer reviews and inspection preparation Advice on managing Decent Homes programmes Tenant involvement and participation (as a Beacon partner) Developing a clear customer focus and knowing your customer Performance management Staff and customer reward scheme Governance Development and implementation of a new tenancy sign up DVD.
