Description

HTL-STREFA SA is a Poland-based company is primarily engaged in the manufacture of blood sampling lancets. The Company's portfolio consists of two main products: Medlance, offering a range of safety lancets used to obtain capillary blood samples for various diagnostic purposes, including blood glucose, cholesterol, hemoglobin, CRP-tests, blood gas, HIV, electrolytes, blood group tests, fungal infection and multiple tests on neonates, and Droplet, offering personal lancets for self-blood glucose monitoring. HTL Strefa S.A. also runs an independent research and development department. During the fiscal year ended 31 December, 2007, the Company had a number of subsidiaries, including HT Lancet Sp. z o.o., HTL-STREFA Marketing Sp. z o.o., HTL-STREFA Gmbh, HTL-STREFA Inc and HeaMedic AB. Through its subsidiaries, it operated in the United States, Germany and Switzerland. The Company's core customers are: Roche Diagnostics, Bayer Healthcare and Bacton Dickins.
